Genovese Basil is a glorious herb. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but its scent is intoxicating. It is a cooking staple in our kitchen; we use it several times each week in all kinds of dishes. Even if we didn’t, we would probably just harvest some to have its scent wafting throughout our home.

Place basil stems in water at room temperature immediately so you can enjoy them for several days.
