Organic Lemon Basil
Our organic Lemon Basil can be put to many uses. One good suggestion is The Splendid Table’s Lemon Basil Snap Beans because “the beans showcase the basil brilliantly.” Steam green beans (we recommend our organic Rattlesnake Beans) until tender. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop their cooking. Turn the beans in a bowl and keep them at room temperature up to three hours. Just before serving the beans, toss them with a generous amount of coarse salt and 1 cup of lemon basil leaves for every ½ pound of beans.
