Organic Fernleaf Dill Seedling

Categories: ,

Anethum graveolens

This aromatic herb attracts beneficial insects in the garden, and is beautiful swaying in the wind. It is great for pickling, of course, and we often serve it with salmon. We recently enjoyed a salad with dill seeds and could taste a bit of citrus in them.

Space each plant four inches apart in a bed with four hours of sun. Water well when young; once established the dill’s deep taproot makes it very drought tolerant. Dill reseeds each year.
